- Coat: Short And Medium Fine
- Color: Brindle Or Red, Grey Or Black. Solid White, Fawn, Red Or Black; With Or Without White.
- Temperament: Protective and aloof with strangers.
Appearance
- Head: Large in proportion to body; square.
- Eyes: Medium in size, set wide and low.
- Ears: Set high and wide. Rose shaped or buttoned.
- Muzzle: Short, broad and deep.
- Nose: Black and self-colored according to coat.
- Bite: Scissor or level.
- Neck: Short and as wide as the head.
- Chest: Wide and deep, with well rounded ribs.
- Body: Back is short, strong and slightly roached, with belly tucked well up.
- Legs: Forelegs may be straight or slightly bowed.
- Hind legs are well muscled, but not cow-hocked.
- Feet: Small and compact, with arched toes and thick pads.
- Tail: Pump handled or crooked.
- Movement: Strong and driving, yet very agile.
